What to know
Important change: as of 1 January 2026 a Home Energy Assessment is required BEFORE installation to receive any standard Efficiency Nova Scotia rebate. Booking the assessment first is now the difference between getting the rebate and getting nothing. Rebate cheques typically arrive within 90 days of the final assessment.
