Non-repayable contributions of up to 50% of eligible costs, to a maximum of $200,000 over 24 months, or $100,000 a year, per project per company. Development and commercialization projects may be considered above that ceiling.
What to know
One of the clearer genuine grant programs in Atlantic Canada, explicitly non-repayable, with published limits. Development and Commercialization projects can go considerably higher, normally up to $750,000 over multiple years. Open to sole proprietors, partnerships, corporations, co-operatives and non-profits that can demonstrate commercial viability.
