About the amount
The Black Entrepreneurship Loan Fund lends up to $250,000 to start, grow or maintain a business, administered by partner organisations rather than by the department. The programme also funds business support services - training, advisory, mentoring and networking - and was extended with $189 million over five years in the 2024 Fall Economic Statement.
